We all play music in our homes, whether through our phones, computers or converted suitcase speaker systems. But there’s rarely an option to have a musician spontaneously appear at your front door and serenade you.
A week ago, the beautifully talented Rowena Wise and myself walked the streets of Northcote, guitar in toe, looking for unsuspecting strangers to entertain.
We found our four victims sitting by candle light, playing cards and drinking wine in their front yard. They gratefully accepted our intrusion and Rowena supplied a stunning performance that I doubt these people will forget.
