Only a 35 minute drive east from Melbourne and quite suddenly you’re surrounded by the greenery and clean country air of Warrandyte. Beautiful tree lined views provided the perfect backdrop for Sweet Jean playing at wonderful host, Meg’s house.
A huge range of baked treats had been provided by Meg and her guests, with two tables full of tempting treats. Meg organised this Parlour Gig to raise money for the Redcross Syria Crisis Appeal, which provides necessary humanitarian support to people and communities affected by the Syrian crisis.
Sime Nugent and Alice Keath (AKA Sweet Jean) played a stunning set, which included songs off their most recent release Monday to Friday. The track in the video above, NYD is a beautiful taster, you should get your hands on the whole album, it’s a rippa.
