Sitting out the front of a large villa like home, in comfortably warm weather with an amazing view in front of me, I felt like a king. A perfect start to the launch of Parlour in the sunny city of Brisbane.
Abbie Cardwell, the musician for the evening, and her mum, Wendy were incredible hosts. Not only putting us up for the night, but fed us the most amazing home made taco’s.
To continue on with the Mexican theme, Abbie played songs from her latest album, From Mexico with Love, sharing stories about her time in Mexico and the recording of her album.
After being well fed, musically fulfilled and suitably liquored, I retired to bed and dreamt of Valentina hot sauce on plain potato chips… (Try it!)
